I forgot how crazy life gets when you're in the working world. I have been working non stop this past week and I am so worn out. I didn't think working at a water sport store would be as physical as it is. As crazy as it sounds, I love it. Not many people can say they love there job and the people they work with. I am very lucky. Only good things are happening here in Florida. Loving life more and more each day.
Well I just want to say congrats to my sister-n-law for bringing such a beautiful baby girl into this world. Yep,I became an Aunt again today. :) I just love nieces and nephews. There is nothing better then a new baby in the family.
Even though me and Andrew are never home, it's crazy how messy the house gets. With us both working everyday full time, it's hard to keep up with the house and I have company coming this next week. So what am I going to do on my day off tomorrow? Clean the house. I hope everyone else enjoys the rest of there weekend while I am slaving away. ;)

Family, work, and life.....
I'm laying in bed and I can't sleep so what do I do?! I blog. So this last week we had some family visit from Pennsylvania and let me tell you, it was a blast. I love having company. It was so much fun to cook for a group of people and stay up playing games like Farkle and 21. Family time is always great and this next week Andria is coming for a visit. :) I am so excited to show her Florida. We are going to do it all. Spotlight alligators on an airboat. Snorkel and swim with dolphins and she's even going to try alligator. So glad I can give her a place to come to when she needs a break. Monday can't come soon enough. This week I start work at my new job. Is it weird that I'm excited to work? Well I am. I can't wait to get out of the house to actually do something with my day while Andrew is at work. In the next month or two, he will be switching shifts I won't be able to see him at all. Right when I get off he will be leaving for work and vis a versa. We are alright with the situation because We will get one day off each week to spend together and I will take whatever I can. After three months of night shift, he will switch back to day shift for another couple of months so it all works out. Always gotta look on the bright side. :) I knew blogging would help me get to sleep so I better go to sleep before I wake myself up.... Again! Happy spring everyone!

Life is sweet
I have only been in Florida for a month now and I have already found myself a job! :) I am so happy right now. I was surprised to get a call from West Marine because I've never worked in a place like it before. West Marine is a boating and water sport store. It has everything you can think of when it comes to water sports and is located right by the beach. Perfect job for me right?! I will be working full time and Im excited because sitting at home and doing nothing is not my thing. Im happy I got a job where I can interact with different people everyday. With both me and Andrew having jobs, makes it we can plan a mini vacation for our anniversary and my birthday. :) We are so blessed with how perfect everything has gone. For how young we are, I realize we are so lucky to be in the place we are. There is nothing better then being stable and happy. It makes me grateful for my family and wonderful husband who made it possible for us to go through these once in a lifetime experiences. I am excited to see what is to come. Our future looks bright and it's only going up from here. :)

Fun in the sun
Life has been so crazy. Everyday I have had something going on. Spring break has started in Florida. The spring beakers are here until the end of April then we have to deal with tourists all summer. It is not as bad as some people say, just a lot of traffic. Winter has come and gone here and the spring weather is rolling in. These last two weeks have been in the 80's, which is summer weather in Idaho. Andrew and I are both dying but getting tan and laying out on the beach whenever I want is worth it. :) I cannot stop bragging about how great this place is. But it's true, this place is pretty amazing. I am loving every second here and I am crossing my fingers we stay here through the rest of Andrew's contract. I will never get over the white sandy beaches and how blue the water is. It reminds me a lot of Hawaii but the beach is even whiter here. I think I can handle living in paradise for five more years if they let me. This coming weekend we are going to visit Tampa. We are going on an air boat to explore the swamps and spot alligators. :) I am so excited. Andrew and I are coming up on our one year anniversary. It's crazy to think of what happened in just our first year of marriage. The Air Force has been so good to us and it can only go up from here. I am excited to see what the future holds. I am so lucky to have married an Airman. All the nights apart are definitely worth the reward. All the experiences and hardships I have gone through have only made me stronger and I feel accomplished when I look back at what I have achieved. I know I have deployments to deal with in the next year but I am ready to conquer it. Having my family by my side has helped me the most through this year. I know with them on my side I will be able to come over anything that comes our way. Speaking of family, we are actually having some family fly in tomorrow. I am so excited to show them our place and the area. They are from Pennsylvania so I am sure they will enjoy the weather as much as we did when we first arrived. I better get to bed for I have a fun filled week ahead of me and I am going to need as much rest as I can get. I hope everyone has a fabulous week.

"You and Me Go Fishing in the Dark!"
Last night I had an experience I will never forget. I went fishing for the first time. It was so much fun especially since it was in the dark. Andrew got off work later then usual and the sun goes down around 5:30 here so we went on the pier so we can watch all the big waves come in. I have to say there are some crazy people here. It was red flag today on the water. Meaning really strong current so surfers should stay out of the water. But does that stop them? Nope, they were surfing at night. Who does that?! That is the worst time to go because of sharks but I guess you gotta be a little crazy to surf. We didn't catch anything except seaweed but that was because of the full moon. I found out full moon means high tides and big waves. It was so much fun watching the big waves come at you then break on shore. I just love Florida more and more each day. No worries though Andrew is going to make sure I catch a fish so we are going today before the sun goes down so I am really excited. They say it is not rare to catch a couple of sharks so I'm nervous but excited for that. :) Andrew is looking forward to me catching anything because I HATE fish. I hate everything about them. I don't even like to eat fish so this is going to be interesting. Wish me luck because I am going to need it.

Making Memories
This weekend has been a crazy one. Yesterday a huge storm came in and it rained all day. We had tornado warnings in cities around us. Crazy right?! I didn't know Florida had tornadoes. Turns out we have no need to worry because how close we are to the ocean. Yesterday everything was flooded. We had so much rain and lightening it was unbelievable. I swear the weather here is bipolar because I went to bed with it storming and when I woke up, it was clear skies. There was no trace of a storm. Oh happy day! :) I have been waiting for a day like this. So what did we do? We went to the beach. I am obsessed with going to the beach. I can lay out all day everyday. We packed up the car and headed to Pensacola. We had so much fun walking on the pier and watching lots of fisherman catch BIG fish. They were reeling in 10 to 20 pounders. I was shocked. As the day got later we decided to head home. On our way back, we always pass a bridge that connects to Navarre beach. I told Andrew I wanted to take a look so we did. As we got closer to the beach we saw a sign that said "Navarre Beach, Florida's greatest secret." Now I know why. It was so quiet. No crazy tourist running around. All we could hear was the ocean. It was so relaxing. After awhile we got bored of laying on the sand and decided to get in the water and search for sea shells. It was so much fun because the water was warm and we were in clothes. No swimsuits. :) We got soaked fishing for shells. It was so much fun splashing through the water like little kids. Oh memories. We will definitely be doing that again. :) Now we are going to be pulling out the grill and have a movie night to end this fabulous weekend. We took a few photos of us playing in ocean, I hope you enjoy them as much as we do. :)
