Week: 26

How far along? 26 weeks. Total weight gain/loss: Gained 8 lbs. this month. I was a little shocked. Maternity clothes? Yes and sweats. :) Stretch marks? Nope. :) I am very happy with that. Sleep: I can't say it's getting better. More or less I'm just getting used to being uncomfortable. Best moment this week: Had a doctor appointment earlier this week and I love hearing her heartbeat and watching her on the ultrasound. Miss anything? Full nights rest. I feel like I get up to use the restroom every hour during the night. Movement: Yes a lot. She is very active. Food cravings: This week it has been anything chocolate. Have you started to show yet? Yes! Gender: Girl! Labor signs: Nope. Belly button in or out? Out. Wedding rings on or off? On, still no swelling. Happy or moody most of the time? Pretty happy but tired. Looking forward to: Meeting Oaklie! :) We can't wait to see her.

Week: 25

How far along? 25 weeks. Total weight gain/loss: I'm not sure. I will find out Monday at my doctor appointment. Maternity clothes? Yes, but instead of wasting lots of money on expensive maternity shirts at motherhood, go to your favorite store you normally shop at and get a bigger size. Saves you lots of money. :) Stretch marks? Nope. Tummy butter is doing its job. Sleep: Uncomfortable. Best moment this week: Realized that my due date is only three months away or less if I end up not making it the full 40 weeks. Where did the days go? Miss anything? SHOPPING! I love fall/winter outfits. I want to buy all the cute colored skinny jeans with some cute blazers and boots. But that's hard to do when I'm not sure when I will be down to my pre-pregnancy size. Considering Florida starts getting really warm in the middle of February. I might not need winter clothes. :/ Movement: Everyday. She is on a regular schedule now. She sleeps through most of the day and is up most of the night and early morning. Hopefully it changes once she's born. Food cravings: Haven't been craving anything. Have you started to show yet? Yes! :) Gender: A little girl! Labor signs: Nope. Belly button in or out? Out. Wedding rings on or off? On for now. I haven't started swelling in my hands or feet. Hopefully I won't start in my third trimester. Happy or moody most of the time? Pretty happy but starting to feel more tired throughout the day. Looking forward to: Welcoming Little Oaks into the world. <3

Week: 24

How far along? 24 weeks. Total weight gain/loss: Gained 2 lbs. Maternity clothes? Yup. Stretch marks? Nope. :) Sleep: Uncomfortable. Best moment this week: Having lazy days with the hubs. I love being able to just chill and not have a lot of things going on. Miss anything? Shopping for clothes. I'm not going to be pregnant forever and I love sweaters and colored skinny jeans but I can't buy anything because you never know if and when you are going to loose most of the weight. Movement: Everyday! Mostly throughout the night and early morning. Food cravings: I haven't been craving anything lately. It's kinda nice. Anything making you queasy or sick? Recently I have not been able to handle anything pasta. Not much into noodles right now. Have you started to show yet? Yes. Gender: Girl! Labor signs: Nope. :) Belly button in or out? Out. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time? Happy but starting to feel tired and wore out. Looking forward to: Meeting our little Oaks and getting everything ready before the holiday season. :)

Week: 23

How far along? 23 weeks. Total weight gain/loss: Not sure at the moment. I think I've gained maybe 2 lbs. Maternity clothes? Yes but I'm mostly in sweats majority of the time. Stretch marks? Nope. Sleep: Uncomfortable. I'm starting to get pregnancy pains. Best moment this week: Heard the baby's heart beat for the first time on the iPad. The app is called My Baby's Beat. Only works on an iPad or iPhone with headphones and you have to be at least 20 weeks for it to work. My midwife told me about it and it really does work. Now I can listen to the baby's heart beat whenever I want. :) Miss anything? Nope, not at the moment. Movement: I feel her move and kick everyday. Food cravings: I haven't been craving anything lately. I just eat what I want. Anything making you queasy or sick? No. I should just take this question off because I think I'm clear of getting morning sickness. Have you started to show yet? Yes, I have a little bump. Gender: Little Girl! Labor signs: Nope. :) A little over 3 months to go. Belly button in or out? Mostly out. Wedding rings on or off? On. My fingers haven't started swelling...yet. Hopefully I can wear them up to delivery. Happy or moody most of the time? Pretty happy. I think I'm done with mood swings. Looking forward to: Meeting my little girl. <3

Life Update

It has been so long since I have got on my blog to pass time and write about what is going on in life besides the weekly pregnancy blog. Life hasn't been too exciting recently. Just over a week ago we returned back to Florida after spending a couple weeks back in Idaho with the fam. It was a great visit and for me it went by way too fast. Everyday we were there, we had something going on. I feel like I never got an opportunity to sit and enjoy all the company. My parents did take us on a four wheeler ride through the hills and fields the night before we left and I have to say that was really refreshing. I was always one of those small town girls who wanted to get away and run away to the city. Now that I am in the city, I miss home. I love that we can get away from our crazy life from time to time to visit home. When we flew back to Florida, we found out we had a hurricane coming our way. I know a lot of you heard about Hurricane Isaac. It came and went. We were just outside of the storm. We didn't get hit with that much rain or wind. Me and Andrew went for a walk during the storm because of how cool it was outside. It very rarely gets that cool even at night so I figured I would take advantage of that. As far as my pregnancy, if you keep up with my weekly posts, you would know it is going really well. Everyone comments on how small I look in my pictures. I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or not. Baby girl is growing normal and is where she should be so if I'm small, maybe that's just how my body is. Eventually I will pop out but for right now I like the rate I am going. I do regret not taking photos of my first few weeks because you can see a big difference from then to now. I will just have to keep that in mind for next time. We finally decided on a name and it is for sure this time. I had a moment where I was changing it all the time. But we decided on Oaklie Kaye. We love it and it is very different and a name you don't hear everyday. And for the first time since being home, we got to go baby shopping. We got a lot of cute clothes and goodies. Oaklie is definiently going to be a very spoiled little girl and it's not just because of me. She already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Andrew has been so amazing throughout the whole pregnancy and he is so excited to be a dad. Every night he will roll over in bed and put his hand on my belly and talk to her. He loves the reaction he gets out of her because she kicks right where his hand is every time. It is one of the best things to experience. As far as Andrew being a workaholic and me being pregnant, that is pretty much all that is going on in life right now. In only 4 short months that will all change. But for right now I am going to enjoy getting as much sleep as possible and spending as much time as I can ALONE with the hubs. :)
