So many things have happened this past week. My family are here and I am enjoying every bit of there company. I love being around my family. It feels more like home when they are around. They are all enjoying Oaklie. They fight over who gets to hold her next. :) Oaklie is very loved and spoiled from her Campbell family. I am not looking forward to them leaving but the beginning of March, we will be home for a couple weeks so it wont be long til I see them again. :)
Oaklie lost her umbilical cord earlier this week and I cant wait to give her an actual bath. Today her social security came in the mail. I was surprised how fast we got it. She also had her first 2 week check up with the doctor on Thursday and she is doing excellent. She gained her birth weight and plus some. She now weighs 7 lbs. and 12 ounces and is 19.5 inches. She is getting everything she needs and that makes me really happy. :) Tomorrow, Oaklie has her newborn pictures. I am really excited because we got a lot of really cute headbands and props for her photos. I love dressing her up.
Oaklie is 2 weeks old today. I was looking through her photos of the day she was born, and she is not my little infant anymore. She has changed so much in these past two weeks. Shes changed since my parents have been here. I know its only been two weeks, but I cant believe how much she has changed in just two weeks. It really does go by quick. She already rolls to her side all by herself and before I know it, she is going to be walking and talking. All I can do is cherish the time she wants to cuddle with me before she starts taking off. :)
