Week: 38

How far along? 38 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Gained 1 lb.
Sleep: They say sleep as much as you can now, but I don't see how that is possible because I cant sleep because I am so uncomfortable.
Best moment this week: The world didn't end. ;) Andrew took me out to dinner and a movie last night. I love date night with him. <3
Miss anything? Sleep and when rolling over didn't feel like such a sport. Am I the only one that feels like this?
Movement: Lots and lots of kicks.
Food cravings: Mint hot chocolate, but that might be because of the holidays and Green apples.
Have you started to show yet? Umm.... yes!
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs? A few contractions here and there but nothing consistent to make me think she's going to be here in a couple of days, but you never know.
Belly button in or out? Out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Pretty happy and anxious.
Looking forward to: Christmas and meeting Oaklie of course. We are so close. :)

Week: 37

How far along? 37 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Gained 2 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Sleep: Uncomfortable! Lower back pain is starting to set in.
Best moment this week: Finally finished the letters for the nursery. It took more time then expected. Cutting scrapbook paper with all the swirls in the letters was hard, but it turned out really cute I think.
Miss anything? Being able to see my toes. ;)
Movement: If anything she has become more active.
Food cravings: Anything mint and comfort food.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I have a few moments where I don't feel good.
Have you started to show yet? YES! I definitely feel pregnant now.
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs: Some intense "Braxton Hicks." But maybe only one a day. I don't expect to go into labor anytime soon.
Belly button in or out? Out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off, but in a few weeks I will be wearing them again. :)
Happy or moody most of the time? I've been in a good mood, just worn out and tired.
Looking forward to: Meeting my little girl! I'm more then ready for her to be here.

Christmas, Life, and Baby!

Lately I feel like blogging has become more of a chore for me with the weekly pregnancy post. I cant remember when I just got on to type because I wanted to. I am ready to start blogging on life and about my little girl. I am getting so anxious for her arrival that its making these last few weeks drag. The first 8 months seem to have flown by but now that the countdown has begun, it is going to drag for me. It could also be because of the holidays. The hardest part with this whole experience being military and pregnant, is being away from family. It makes it especially hard during the holidays. My family makes the holiday's amazing with the family parties, temple square, my mom's house all decorated with all sorts of decorations, and my parents Christmas Eve party. Its sad not being able to come home this year due to Christmas being so close to my due date, I cant fly. And who knows, we might be spending our Christmas in the hospital. Fingers crossed that we don't. Oaklie can wait until after Christmas. ;)

On a better note, all of our Christmas shopping is done and also baby shopping. It is nice to have it all done so we can relax and enjoy ourselves before everything gets a little crazy. Now I get to focus on doing some cute crafts for the nursery. I have been a little slacker on get her nursery done but I figure I have a little time to get that all done because we have her set up to sleep in the bedroom with us for a month or two while she is really little. Other then baby shopping and holiday shopping, our life has consist of work and keeping the house all cleaned and ready for the baby. Its crazy to think we are going to be parents in a few short weeks. :) I am really excited and nervous but mostly for labor. Sorry this post is so long, but soon the hubs will be home from work and I don't have dinner started yet so I probably should jump on that. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas considering this will be my last "real" post besides the last few pregnancy posts until the baby gets here. :)

Week: 36

How far along? 36 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Gained a little over 2 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Stretch marks? Some but not a lot.
Sleep: Uncomfortable! Heart burn and acid reflex makes for a long night.
Best moment this week: Had a doctor appointment and found out the baby is in position for delivery. I love seeing her on an ultrasound. :)
Miss anything? Not getting heart burn and being able to tie my own shoes. ;)
Movement: Yes!
Food cravings: Salad and comfort food.
Have you started to show yet? Yes, I may be small but I feel HUGE!
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks every once in awhile.
Belly button in or out? Out and seems to be poking out more and more each day.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy but really tired.
Looking forward to: Meeting little Oaklie. I am starting to get really anxious for her arrival. <3

Week: 35

How far along? 35 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: Finding out Monday.
Maternity clothes? Yes, but I can't wait to be able to fit in my clothes again.
Stretch marks? Yes, but good news is normally the weight gained and stretch marks that show up now, go away after pregnancy. :)
Sleep: Surprisingly more comfortable! It feels like she has moved down so shes not constantly pressing on my ribs.
Best moment this week: Got ALL the baby shopping and Christmas shopping done. Its nice to have everything done. We are now more then ready for her arrival. :)
Miss anything? Family mostly. Hard being away during the holidays.
Movement: Lots and lots of movement.
Food cravings: I have had a thing for Sunny D and Orange Juice lately. Its pretty delicious.
Have you started to show yet? Yes, I can't see my toes anymore.
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks. I have had a few pretty painful "Braxton Hicks" this week. It makes me that more excited for labor pains.
Belly button in or out? Out.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. :/ I miss wearing my wedding rings.
Happy or moody most of the time? Pretty anxious and tired. I can't believe how tired I feel lately.
Looking forward to: Being a mommy and meeting our little girl. It is so close. :)
